Marcien Jenckes, Executive Vice President, Consumer Services, Comcast Cable

As Executive Vice President, Consumer Services for Comcast Cable, Marcien Jenckes is responsible for Comcast’s residential lines of business, which include Xfinity Video, Xfinity Internet, Xfinity Home, and Xfinity Voice. He leads the strategy, development, and deployment of innovative technologies and services across these categories to provide a great entertainment and communications experience for tens of millions of customers.

Under his leadership, Comcast has begun the consumer roll out of ultra-fast gigabit speeds and is building the nation’s largest and fastest Wi-Fi network.  Marcien’s team continues to put the company’s flagship video product, Xfinity X1, into more homes while also creating customized video services like Xfinity on Campus, Internet Plus and Stream.  Home security and home automation continue to be a focus of the company and Marcien’s team has worked to integrate new partner devices from leading technology companies into the Xfinity Home platform.

Prior to joining Comcast, Marcien was an entrepreneur, involved with a host of video-based start-ups including Grab Networks and Voxant, and he held a variety of leadership roles at AOL Inc. where he launched AOL’s free web services, including the free AOL.com portal. Marcien also spent several years at McKinsey & Company, largely in the media and telecom practice.

He holds a Master of Business from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from New York University.
